Welcome to 2024 Cloudvocal Jam! This year, we’ve made some changes and invited all our friends to explore the possibilities of melody and creativity with the instruments in their hands, while connecting with fellow musicians all over the world. Rather than a competition of technical skills, we see this as a virtual stage for everyone to share and learn how different instruments interact through melody and rhythm.
Feel free to download the backing tracks from our website, and upload your brilliant performance according to the event guidelines before the deadline. You’ll have the chance to win special prizes we’ve prepared, adding more color and excitement to your musical journey. Don’t forget to subscribe to the Soundstage newsletter to stay updated on event announcements, sheet music, and tutorial examples!

RULES：
- Download the 2024 official backing track. DO NOT rearrange nor change the key, tempo, etc.
- Record a video of your improvisation with the Official backing. Upload it to YouTube and set it to public with the tag #24cloudvocaljam
- Entries uploaded to Instagram and Facebook WILL NOT be recognized as eligible entries, however, feel free to share your video on your social media after uploading it to your YouTube channel.
- ONLY ONE entry per person. Please set the camera angle properly to show it’s played by a real person instead of AI-generated content.
- Entries MUST BE PLAYED on real instruments.
- Uploads are to be entered in by 23:59 (GMT+0), December 31st, 2024.
- Cloudvocal will announce the finalists on the 20th of January, 2025. The final results will be announced on the 20th of February.
- Crews at Cloudvocal will narrow the entries down to a certain ratio based on the total entries. By the day the finalists are announced, there will be an online voting system. The one who gets the highest votes will be the grand prize winner and so on.
- Cloudvocal covers only the prizes and the shipping cost to winners’ locations. Cloudvocal is not responsible for additional expenses, such as customs duties, handling fees, etc.
